hi there:
1.about the knobs on the controller i use the old fashioned way (the only i know) and that is to configure the cc numbers from the ozonic, not the sofware, to control vst knobs. cc values from instruments are usually found at the end of their manuals which u may have in pdf format somewhere.
also make sure u have the correct midi input configured in your host.
2.i dont know that much about hardware synth sync, but i had a electribe and a yamaha an-something. i remember that it should have a midi through port to work... any way im sure the best way is to get a multi midi box..im sure there are tons of cheap usb around now,and that should be the best solution..
also u have to configure the sync in cubase, thats a whole issue.....it has many options u have to setup for ur particular rig.
i hope this helps...

hi uili
1.for knobs control i hate cubase
you have to assign all in the hard way , CC numbers , but you can also download your equipment manuals on the net.
2.there is midi-clock that cubase should send to the instruments.. connect them in a chain with the through option (computer-midi in 1- midi through1 - midi in 2 - midi through 2...)

Cubase generic remote control is great solution, it may be a little messy the first time but once u know how to it´s very easy.
go to devices then add a generic remote controller and youl see two dialog boxes, the upper one is for your controller the second one for the device being controlled. |

Other could be...your ozonic must have memories, change the cc values of each acording to the synth u want to control example
memory 1 -vanguard
memeory 2-discovery
...and so on you just need to know the cc values of the softsynth u want to control.
