synchronasing arpeggio

hi there! i've bought a cheap yamaha cs1x and trying to get the arpeggio synchronized. wehn i switch from a fixed tempo like 145 to midi it stops sounding... anyone who knows what this could be? thx for helping! |

hmm, is your sequencer sending midi clock? is the cs1x set up to accept an external clock? |

Hey Gregi, you should enable the CS1x's ARP to receive the midi clock from the sequencer
(set to EXT). A lot of synths have a default value set to INT!
I remenber my old CS6x had known problems with respect to arpeggio synchronization. |

also the latency of your sound set up will affect timing. try bounce the arp down to audio and look at the wav. there might be a small bit of silence before the notes start, which will make it sound out of time |
