hi there! i've bought a cheap yamaha cs1x and trying to get the arpeggio synchronized. wehn i switch from a fixed tempo like 145 to midi it stops sounding... anyone who knows what this could be? thx for helping!

hmm, is your sequencer sending midi clock? is the cs1x set up to accept an external clock?

Hey Gregi, you should enable the CS1x's ARP to receive the midi clock from the sequencer
(set to EXT). A lot of synths have a default value set to INT!
I remenber my old CS6x had known problems with respect to arpeggio synchronization.

also the latency of your sound set up will affect timing. try bounce the arp down to audio and look at the wav. there might be a small bit of silence before the notes start, which will make it sound out of time
