I did some stuff with it a few years ago, and thought it was great, very good and fluid in it's simplicity.....but I still prefer logic in the end myself.
I just find the sound quality better. Don't know why, but some mixing routines seem to sound a lot worse than others.
I also have a problem with how cubase sounds, so I might just be a bit anal.
Also I haven't used any recent versions of orion, so it might sound better now.

I used logic for ages, and notator before that, so I feel at home with it and the complexity doesn't get in the way for me.
Otherwise easy use is a top priority for me, It doesn't matter to me how great something sounds, it has to be userfriendly.

Most of the finnish producers I know use either orion or FL, and they are very productive, but not maybe so super concerned about fidelty. I like their music very much though because it sounds fun, maybe partly thanks to the simple tools they use.

And to me it would feel a lot cooler to have a nice tune to present and have it done in Orion, than if I would been made using a neve desk, eventide processors, summit compressors, waldorf wave, moog modular etc..
