Hey all.. Please list out some symbols commonly associated with psychedellia.. such as the Aum/Om/Ohm(not sure which spelling is most correct) or a smilie face.. 
you see i'm not too good at drawing definate figures.. am into the tribal kinda drawings.. but i guess i can manage symbols.. was planning on trying out my hand at making posters(and if it works out move onto cloth backdrops), with a collage of symbols in it, along with my regular tribal stuff..
i have way too much free time on my hands and want to do something constructive.. Thanks..

Rather than try and recreate traditional 'scene' symbols (much as I love the Om and big smiley acid faces myself) why don't you draw something that you like with symbols that fascinate you personally? Tribal artwork can be very beautiful and some of it is very psychedelic. All the best art - even psy backdrops and posters - have something original about them, or at the very least something of their creator and his/her passion in my opinion. Don't go with the flow on this one mate. Dig deep and unearth your muse. 
Failing that, stick a dancing Shiva with UV trident in there somewhere and I'm sure you'll fit right in.  |
