Its expensive to organize festivals with no sponsors, especially fully permitted, legal gatherings in such amazing natural spots such as Yosemite.
Buy a presale or volunteer!
see ya on the dancefloor.
ps don't miss Extrawelt, a dream come true to see in the US! and CocoRosie!!

can't believe i open this again, and people are still complaining about price, lineup....
dudes, get over it, don't want to pay, coollll, spend it all on starbucks.
are u unhappy about their program and price? please! why dont u do one festival? FREE and with a super duper underground lineup(just in the us).....because the last time i checked and psy trance was underground...was like 10 years ago...

Last time I checked there is atleast one free big festival with a rocking lineup in the US, and a number of smaller renegade style events all over the US for free. The genre of psy itself may not be "underground" anymore but there are plenty of underground gatherings with little or no promotion and rocking all night music with national/international artists. |

only my opionion...
this is one sick event
i've been in angels camp 2 years ago and it was pure fun.
paying 180$ for five days and have a lake in the middle of it to relax every now and then sounds good to me.
i still hope we'll get to c Ticon play this year as well... but Flowjob will definitely work for me.
cheers for all the people that make it happen and thank you! |

there is no way, even at the price being asked, that there will be a profit for this festival. It's more like a hope of breaking even... I think the loss of the last one was somewhere in the 100,000 dollar range (am i wrong?) it's an all star line up of international talent and that costs a lot of money not to mention I've been told that the location this year is also quite expensive.
In the end the entry charge is the only charge you'll face other than the bring your own beer and grocery bill. sure you could travel somewhere else but this argument doesn't make sense when it co-insides with talk of actually saving money. this just isn't a logical argument due to the fact that your going to spend at least 1500 dollars more to fly to a festival in Europe that has an equally killer lineup and then you'll end up paying even more money, on top of the entry fee and plane flight, renting a car and getting food at the food court within the festival etc... it just doesn't balance out does it?
I dont see why there are so many haters on this thread...you could go to burning man for double the price and you'd be lucky to find 10% of the quality music that will be showcased at symbiosis this year. the line up is killer and I'm sure the vibe will be killer as well. I hope everyone that has doubt finds a way to make it to this event! peace |

i really don't understand the cost issue here,
it's a great event, @ amazing location with top quality djs. that costs money. it's a free country, do whatever u want.
events that r free have their own thing going on which is usually very very good.
u can't compare a 3000 crowd vibe and a small gathering vibe.
i think the price is fair !!!!!!
and thanks again for the ppl that work hard to make it happen and put cali on the trance map with an amazing event. |

A line up alone doesn't make a great festival, its the whole vision and implementation that really matters. I am so honored and thrilled to be working with Symbiosis this year because I truly believe in what is being created!
Not only is there a jaw dropping diverse selection of musical artists represented, but everything from the workshops, performance artists, environmental care and education is being considered.
This is festival production unheard of thus far in the USA underground community. Everything that is being created here is on par or exceeding those standards set by international festivals that have the help of sponsors and 20,000+ crowds. We are doing this with only the support of our community.
I think of the potential magical moments that will occur during this gathering and remember that it takes the synthesis of literally thousands of small details to come together in a perfect way, at the perfect time to manifest such moments.
Really hope to see ya'll there and share some of those magic moments with you!
