Holy shit. Get over it dude. If you're so concerned then you should have volunteered and actively made the difference you put on to be so concerned about yourself.

your welcome.the festivale is fun.what is the controversy about with asking for head count and ticket price from the past? Was it the starbucks quote in reference to saying people complaining about price gouging rather buy corporate coffee in defense of Symbiosis?is there a controversy in not answering head count from past?supportive questions.

Dearest lockedfruit dude, the apple of my eye, the banana in my tailpipe,

I applaud your efforts to vigilantly investigate to make sure that Symbiosis Events is “not using the Eco environmental no sponsors kick to cover up corporate greed.”

As our resident scholar, I invite you to delve into our creation myth.

2005 : The Vision

Symbiosis Gathering 2005 . Santa Cruz, CA

Symbiosis began in 2005 with the vision of creating a gathering where all of our friends, regardless of their musical tastes or personal interests, could come together for a harvest celebration that was aligned with our social and ecological intentions. We succeeded in bringing a sellout crowd of around 800 people for 3 days to the mountains of Santa Cruz, California, for what would become the seed of a new cultural phenomenon in the West Coast underground community: the ‘Integrated’ event.

2006 : Growth and Expansion

Symbiosis Gathering 2006 . Angels Camp, CA

In 2006, The Second Annual Symbiosis Gathering moved to a larger venue in order to support the growing interest in the event. The new home, in Angel’s Camp, California, could support 4 times as many guests and provided the isolation and proximity to nature required for the 4-day outdoor Symbiosis experience. The attendance for this event was approximately double that of the previous year, due largely to a massive amount of international lineup additions, even more art installations and workshops, an increase in global street team promotions, and a three-day introduction to permaculture course. Guests came from across the West Coast, and as far as New York, Australia, and Japan to be a part of the community.

2007 : Building a Community

Symbiosis Gathering 2007 . Angels Camp, CA

The Third Annual Symbiosis Gathering, taken place in September to align with the Fall Equinox, doubled its attendance for the third time with over 3000 guests at the Angel’s Camp location. Guests enjoyed three stages of music, a spectrum of workshops and presentations (including a four-day permaculture intensive), a dedicated healing space, and countless art installations and surprise performances. Highlights included the Autumn Equinox Ritual Prayerformance and international multi-genre musical lineup. A live performance from the Symbiotic Orchestra, a super-jam collaboration of the weekend’s star electronic and acoustic performers, united the crowds at the Field Stage on Sunday evening to close the event with another unforgettable community experience.

2008 : Hiatus Year

Symbiosis Gathering was postponed in 2008 as the organization adjusted to rapid growth and the necessity of a larger location. Symbiosis Events focused instead on building a series of community events in the San Francisco Bay Area and special events across the USA: SymbiosisEvents.com

2009 : History in the Making

We hope you will join us in the continuing evolution of Symbiosis Gathering! This year promises to be even more of what we’ve come to love, with fresh new inspiration from both local and international communities of artists and conscious creative people at Camp Mather, just outside of Yosemite National Park and permitted for a 5-day event with up to 5500 persons on site!

I think maybe some of the East Coast organizers with big ideas about genre mixing should look to this group for inspiration and advice...

I think if you have a mixed group, then stressing the Eco-friendly initiative should be paramount!

Maybe some of those with the mindset of "my garbage collection has been paid for by this high entry fee", will be enlightened as to the motto of: pack out what you pack in!

Good Luck for this party!

Maybe the stars will align for me to attend the next offering.

Hey Bephree.

I am not a moderator or anything but you don't have to sound condescending towards people that didn't jump up and down from joy at your announcements.

Sarcasm is just a form of robing a person out of his/hers energy.

I enjoy sarcasm and haven't found his offensive...

But it wasn't directed towards me so...

Actually, even as one of the earlier voices of dissent over some matters of this years event. I have found the responses rather witty and amusing, and at least somewhat forthcoming in responding to the challenges and questions posed.

I think the level of communication between the orgs and the general public is actually very good, and while i might not personally agree with somethings now and again, I at least respect the fact they are providing answers to questions and providing explanations to placate us sabre rattlers of the scene
