try a little bit of distortion (not fuzzed-out metal-style) or saturation mate. It can really help to thicken the sound out. I like Camelcrusher (freebie)

and pay attention to your kick, it can REALLY help to make your bass sound good and matching the kick and bass nicely together is ESSENTIAL for getting that "rolling" magic carpet bass sound.
