SX3: transport panel went missing

i can't seem to find the transport panel in cubase sx3 anymore. F2 won't work.
it's sort of stupid, but i really don't know the solution to this.
it's happened to me before, but somehow it came back that time and now it's missing again.
your help is much appreciated, knowledgable people!

hahaha  this sounds like a joke, a funny one..
man, i think your transportpanel is angry with you, you got to treat him right... sometimes stroke him with the mouse and show your appreciation..

i wish it was that easy...
surrender, i think transport panel has "on top of them all" priority, so it can not be covered with anything else.
yes, i do have two monitors, but i can't locate the panel on either. i tried resizing the cubase window, moving stuff around, nothing helped so far...

do you mean a demo song in general, one of those preset layouts, or a specific one that comes with cubase? if so, what is the name of it?
