ya, mine works on 98' it's have a few problems but you can work with it , i think that anyway i will move to xp soon for a lot of other reasons.

The "unofficial" version works nicely with win98, but I support jendoz here - Move to Xp if your computer allows...  |

Wako, 98 SE is far more compatible for most music apps than winxp or win2000pro

Jason I would say u generalize a bit here.. 
Windows XP is WAY better in handling everything on the PC - with one condition - that the PC is newer than the XP.
Meaning everyone with P4 can and should use XP it is much besser than the 98 SE ( I know cuz I used it for at least 2 years ) and it adds all the things u CAN NOT do with the 98 such as the Cubase SX ( and to compare that to VST is like comparing 1989'th subaru tender to 2002 saab9000 whatever what a silly example... )

shanti, you should try and put SX on XP. best combo for windows\cubase user AFAIK. |

dude!
XP needs a some tuning that u need to do on it if u wants it to be an audio ready operation system.
I did it in the studio and upgraded to cubase sx and the only thing i can tell u is:
I AM NOT GOING BACK TO WINDOWS 98 OR CUBASE 5.1 ANY MORE!!!!
u cant compare.
call me if u need help . i can help u with the setup so u wont need to pay music shop...
im using pulsar and luna together so u can trust me.
