What effects do you use to make a good swoosh or white noise??? |

white noise going into 2-3 bandpass filters in parallel with each filter getting a very slow sine lfo movement then maybe a lowpass filter on all of that with a nice lfo then saturation and delay and reverb

very simple , example sylenth 1 put your wave on white noise , use filter cutoff ( automate) , reverb , delay , if you want a slow to fast one , put under rate and gain cutoff and do this know about 10 past or more and give it 100% gain to start with and automate your rate ,also try graindelay , chorus or phaser , the rest is up to you ! namaste |

I have tried implement stereo enhancer with similar principle few months ago as Faxinadu said...using couple of band pass filters and place them in the stereo field. Unfortunately, result sound was a little bit ugly to me  . But for some sound material it sounds pretty good.
I like to use tremolo on white noise with modulated frequency  sounds like transformes staff to me.

Also use sylenth1 for this..
Put osc 1 to white noise wave, then use Mod Env 1 and add pitch A. Put A+D+S+R at full. Increase bend range if you want a higher build-up. Set knob on Mod env1 next to Pitch A to about 1-2'o clock. Play around with this to set the speed of the build-up.
Use Mod Env 2 and add cutoff A, also ADSR at full, and play around with the amount knob on Env 2. (set filter to zero before this)
First Mod builds up pitch, second mod opens up filter.
