From what I can understand about what you're asking, you either need to:
-Use an arpeggiator while playing a chord on the mode ("up", "down", "random") of your choice..which is a feature on some soft synths, VSTi's and sequencing programs.
-Use a scale or undefined melody that you come up with in your head to sequence a sweep/riff that moves up and down, or however you like, and quantize them all to sixteenth or eighth notes..
This really depends on your personal setup and what software and maybe hardware you're using..
Hope i've helped..

use sweep with albino , put 1 oscillator change it to noise , put filter on low pass ' and than start twisting the cutoff knob ' if u want u can go to the matrix modoul and add lfo sign for pitch and cutoff ..
play with it ...
u can make also woth vangured , nord leed ..
for the falls u looking for u take one snare , make it 1\16 size , bounce it and put reverb full power , u 'll
get the effect |

Pitch shifting / Freq Shifting is pretty key for these.
With softsynths like albino you can modulate the pitch with some sort of mod envelope. I'd try it on some pad patches first. If you find the envelope isn't long enough (i.e. the attack in albino, which I often use to achieve this is capped at 10s) then you can draw some automation for the pitch bend wheel after setting the pitch bend range appropriately - there are many ways to skin a cat.
If you want some movement... throw an lfo on there. One of the things I like to do is automate the frequency of the lfo so you get something like wAaaaaAahhhhh........ waaaaaAAAh...... waaaah.... wah..... waah.. wah.wah.wawa.wawawawawawawawawa
Try slapping a reverb on one of your synths, give it a long decay time. Render the tail, reverse it in audio (don't use any kind of reverse reverb available in your reverb unit, they sound like crap). Then, pitch shift the thing up, or freq shift it using something like GRM Tools Spectral Transform FreqShift.
Cubase has a pitch shifter. You can access it by right clicking an audio event and going to the processing menu. Better yet though is Waves Soundshifter G which I find produces a smoother sound. You can only apply it offline by right clicking an audio event and accessing it through the plug-ins menu. |
