Hey folkies! so i after trying to make that really powerful, clear fullonpsy basswith ES1 i realized it was nearly impossible without it making this clicking noise from either the release or the attack. Also its really hard to make one from scratch with a sawtooth wave.

And i read some quite nice things about this CronoX for basslines, but i cant figure it out.

It seems like i have to find a bass sample to begin with and do things from there, but the synth is so mad huge i cant figure it out, anyone made a bass in this one?
If only it wasnt so different from v2, then i could look up one tutorial specified for ableton tho i'm a logicfag

heres the fart bassline, imagine if i could make something good out out of that. :l

it just needs more pluck! barf

sounds pretty nice to me. the high end pluckyness I'd just say mess with filter env amount as usual. I've always wanted to try cronox 3 just to see what it's like. some distortion could make it crunchier too - quadraaaafooz           www.musicproductionnatural.com || www.facebook.com/djamoeba | facebook page

es1 will work as well - lopass it and add a little bit of attack and release (moving the bar up 1/8 of the way for attack only ads a few ms, it won't ruin the sound!).

and yeah, esm. esm is where all my fullon bass comes from these days - sample it, if you want, so you get a digital osc-restart instead of its analog click & pop.           Dance, even if you have nowhere to do it but your living room. ~Kurt Vonnegut

my KBBB remids me of Electro sun, just i'm way cheesier.

Heres my supershort update.
a slightly different kick and a much pluckier bass

i dont know what you guys are gonna say but i sure love it, thank you so much.

But Obelizk, is there a quadrafuzz for mac? i didnt think there was, i hear Delta Force is supposed to be just as good at distorting fullon bass! anyone got any thoughts on that as well?            http://soundcloud.com/li-fe

all the logic synth can make good bass, even the little fm one, evp can make very intresting and more experimental bassline sound than esm ,es1 , for es1 you have to use a slower attack and delay the track, sound almost like esm with less low end and esm waveform is more curved , sound a bit more "tubby" maybe it s right word dunno.. but they share the same caractere.

Yeeah, the ESM was fantastic for bass i think, still a little hard and there is still some tweaking to do.. but i think i can manage this one, i dont like that the ES1 needs that much attack in the bassline, it makes it a bit wobbly, and i totally undersand what u mean by the ESM making tubby bass sounds, its like.. plucky and a bit fat sounding. While the ES1 is quite good for more darkpsy sounds. i have this in mind:

thats how i sort of made mine just tweaked it into something different, but i started from there when i was making bass in it.

Ofc! that one makes fantastic fullon bass, but do we like the version 3? how does one make the fullon sound there?
thats a question.

esm is magical,i like it much more than es1 too , it have something that just fucking great in his sound once processed a little bit but it need very carefull tweaking, for the type of bassline you make it will be stable enought on the sweets spots ,dunno if you sampled it but try wihtout if you did it can give more life to the bassline.
esm into nevish chanel strip with transformers + analog equing = fucking huge bassline that destroys dancefloor but even without analog processing it can sound really analogue and great , and have that magic thing ,it just have the SOUND that really touch me . it can raise my hair ,or give me a big smile on my face when it go outboard its just euphorical, it can sound so fucking good .

man you have to try the sonimus soneq on the esm , tweak it, process it like usual then when it sound great load the soneq for coloring a bit more the sound , it don t have the depth of some good coloring outboard gears but it can sound really good , it s one of the closest thing i have find in plugs that can give me the analog color i like but it s taste, not sure it s the color you like..
the low band is pultec style, if you boost and cut at same time it will boost but cut a bit into the low mids , it give different curves depending the settings that can help to remove some mudd and get a better lowend.

damn i shouldn t share my bassline sound tips you gonna have same sound as me lol ,just jk i don t give a fuck about it ,if it can help some to archieve the sound they like.(if they like that sound anyway as everyhting is about taste)
