Ever since discovering "Mantaray - Numinous Island" CD, I've been wondering what might be a good follow up listen to this work. Not since Woob 1194 was I taken on a trip like this...

I really like the feeling of being on a long and strange journey that 'numinous island' presents....the diverse range of ethnic styles represented and the subtle humor and oddness are very well done.

But, It seems like I read somewhere that his music is all over the map and doesnt have a consistent style from release to release. What would be a good starting point to further explore his music starting from numinous island from most similar to more experimental?

I also enjoy a lot of Tetsu Inoue's music, are there comparable Susumu releases to Tetsu's FAX work?

Any help figuring out a good susumu disc in particular is appreciated.

Also any other similar "world travelling ethnotryptaminic journeys" like woob, ekko, aluna, shpongle.... obscure, rare and world music is fine also.

Sorry if this post goes too many directions at once...Thanks and peace
