In spite of being a close friend of Frederic Gandara aka Suria and donīt want to make any promotional comment i think his level of production itīs must better now than in the old days. His work itīs much more clean and with incredible soundscapes the rythem itīs more logical.

Suria allways were ment to be a day project i know thatīs not the thing for the "night lovers" but i realy belive his skills increased a lot since his sound became powerfull morning instead of what we were used from the old days.

His sounds became predicatable, I don't care how good his production skills are now. (listening to tracks on his myspace).
Why is he resorting to cheesy breakdowns/buildups? 'Day music' doesn't need to be cheesy, I don't know why great artists resort to this.

so true, why not still make nice psychedelic music even tho its aimed for the day dancers and contains some melodies.

Day/morning music should go back to sounding like this

No need for cheesy over the top breakdowns and buildups, just a constant upward progression!

I thought his most recent track with holophonik on V/A Syntonized fields 'Another Dimension' was totally smashing but ofcourse not like this masterpiece where style is concerned.

I bought one copy at defunct Tower Records, and itīs one of the best psychedelic albums ever. I liked it so much that in the Halloween of 2006, I played 5 of its tracks in a party where I was Djing.
Itīs sad to say that after that Suria became mediocre, his last releases predictable, boring, not carrying the energy The Dark Side of Sun carries.

Itīs a pity.
