well sorry but since i got sp1 my xp has crashed exactly 0 times. and sorry but g5 is no match to 64 bit cpus from amd..

It's all a matter of taste...
Unstability on PC is history, get rid from old experiences.. elysium.. you maybe have experience on older PCs?
Mac users say mac is better since OS 1, and every time you tell them it was shit, they say like elysium project: aa that was in OS9.. you should try the new one...
So first they say its bug free... and then they update all the same as PCs...
Audiounits is a great invention on the mac side.
Anyway..
I have a Intelbased PC.. I'm happy it's stable, good performance.. if someone would give me a G5 for free I would take it and love it...
MACs are a bit more into, design, good look, company proudness, quality
PCs more on freedom, selfguiding, independence...
And both just try to have the best performance...
I like macs, I don't have one because it's too expensive and I don't have any reason to change.
BTW.. it's not AMD or Intel that makes the stability!!!!!
IT'S, and you can read it in hardware forums,
THE MOTHERBOARD AND THE CHIPSET!
If you buy shuttle you can be sure that you will hav 70% chance for unstability...
I usually go for Asus, but reading reviews is the only thing that will give you the answer..

Processor power does not alone make a fast computer... Ram and lot's of it, Ultra fast hardiscs, CPU's ect. ect. are all essential elements to make a computer powerful and fast.... |

Update your Windows with newest Serice Packs and use your common sence, then you won't ever get a virus on your PC!
Either you choose PC or Mac, thats the first choise. If you choose PC I would recommend Intel FSB 800, ASUS Mobo with SATA, Dual Channel RAM and Maxtor SATA discs, for a fast and affordable system.

now is definetly not the time to buy any new computer hw or sw anyways..
64bit processing time has begun.. now all you gotta do is wait for cubase, logic audio, what ever you use to release 64 bit edition of their soft..
