Does any of you guys have any supermario bros samples laying around by any chance? Or do you know where to find some? I alreay googled a bit but couldn't find much useful stuff. So I turn my hopes to you.

reFX have a couple of products that might be up your street, the quadraSID and there's a SID expansion for the Nexus2. These are more Amiga style sounds than Gameboy, think cracktros and such, but might be what you need:

maybe just sample your mario game?
or build a gameboy as musical instrument if you still got one..

Your best bet would be the Tweakbench VSTs

I like the Peach / Toad / Triforce VSTs the most.

You wont be disappointed

I built alot of Gameboys with Prosound Mod and Backlight with LSDJ Sequencer, it is really cool if you look for the original sound, but the VSTs will do very well also if you just look for cool samples or well sounding imitations.          _________________________

All the super mario sounds were created using a commodore 64... if you want to recreate these sounds, that's what I would use...           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:
