BIG and LIVE was recorded 100% live,no overdubs, apart from the 3 extra bonus tracks featuring the legendary
JamaicanToaster PRINCE FAR-I remixed by NUCLEUS ROOTS. 12 tracks in all. The unique vocals of ANGEL EYE are complimented by guest appearances from the great DHRUPAD singer REBA BHADURI and CAT VON TRAPP.

BIG and LIVE is a return to the full organic sound of 70s dub, mixed with Hindustani 'magic' music.
Here are some samples from the album for you to download:

If you think you know your music and still have not heard Suns OF Arqa think again!

Suns OF Arqa's later collaborations with 808 State and GUY Called Gerald were the beginnings of Acid House, that later mutated into Jungle and Drum and Bass.Wadada's unique blend of Dub and Hindustani music recorded mainly in Delhi and Mumbai, have been remixed by Youth and Alex Patterson of the ORB, Zion Train and John Leckie producer of Stone Roses, Radiohead...

these are some of the most voluptuous mixes imaginable!

peace

I really did not like, what I heard from this album. Sounded too "simple" for my ears. Also the artwork is kind of deffenitly not my taste.
But tastes are different. And that`s good

I liked Hallucinasia (the one that was suppose to be on LSD) , looking forward for Big and Live. I still listen to old albums times to times.. SOA is chilled world music for sure, they`re pioneers and keeping it real. Respects from a traditionnal indian music lover and keep up the shanti ragaz.

Fantastic album. Like said, it's a return to the dub sources, and it's also more than that. It has a feeling not too diferent from psychedelic 60's in the way it all comes together - also with the singer. It almost reminded me of Jefferson Airplane on some bits

Peace!           V/A Floating Mirror - OUT NOW - with Celles, Midimal, Electrypnose, Melodix, Troll Scientists, Yab Yum, Gaspard, Ajja, Cradle of Beats! Info on
