It could not be easyer to get to the festival from Pipa. First the road is only 6km, either you can go walking from the love beach ahead (most beautiful walk on the state), you will end up at the party in less than 1 hour or there are vans leaving from Pipa to Sibauma, the place of the party each hour at the most, and only cost R$ 1,00.
From Natal to Pipa is just as easy, you can't walk haha, but they have regular buses that leave from the bus terminal and pass on the road in front of the airport each 2 and a half hours. it costs only R$ 7,50. The company calls OCEANO
Besides that you can get mini vans each 15 minutes or so to Goianinha 20 km from Pipa at the price of R$ 6,00 (in the same place you catch regular buses in front of the airport) and then another van, that leaves each 30 minutes to Pipa for R$ 2,50.

The Total Solar Eclipse Festival
Rio Grande do Norte- Brazil
De 28/03 a 01/04
The so awaited day approaches, attracting the people and energy that will form this great ritual. An alingment pf celestial bodies extremely rare, where powerful gravitational forces create one of the greatest cosmic spectacles, The Total Solar Eclipse.
The Sundance Gathering festival was canceled, in view of the low sales of tickets, that would cause a variaty of problems to the production, audience and artists, who would play for an empty dance floor in several moments. There would be pratically two dancefloors in a very big area, causing the feeling of empty festival at all times.
The Sundance Crew was aware of the riscs involved on this festival but we believed that the Eclipse would attract a larger number of people, specially from the region. The importance of the Eclipse made us take the risk, always putting as our primary goal the energy to be created on this Gathering, setting the conditions to deeply experience the phenomenon. The mentioned focus is still with us, even though it is not the celebration we idealized, we will have the necessary to achieve our objective. We are investing enough to have confort and quality during the days of the festival.
We now organized a compact version of the party, and some attractions were kept. The line up now is not just based on our choice, some artists offered their help and other plane tickets were already booked. We changed the concept of the festival, on the same stage there will be live acts, trance djs, downbeats, world music, experimental and regional bands. The line up will have an harmonic evoloution between the styles, which will be selected on the appropiate time of the day.
The duration of the festival will be 6 days, this way people will have time to know themselves a little better but also a bit more of the beautiful sites of the region. The eclipse will be on wednesday March 29th and that is our main atraction. Another total solar eclipse will occur in Brazil in more than 45 years, therefore just this experience is worth the trip.
All this will be going on the most paradisiacal place of Pipa, Rio Grande do Norte, on Praia do Amor (Love Beach) – www.praiadepipa.com.br. Our price was also reduced to fit this new format, so we expect that many can come for this life celebration.

R$50,00 for the weekend
To be accepted on the festival it is necessary to donate to 2 kilograms of food for long storage or R$ 5 fot this purpose. The donations will go to the needing communities of the region.
