SUNCONTROLSPECIES AND IBOGA RECORDS are proud to present ‘Serenaii’; the first in a series of digital only pre-releases to arrive before the 2nd full length SCS album is released.
"With ‘Serenaii’, SCS delivers an unusual track that flows like a river of solar energy from start to finish; starting with the smallest cracks of light and then building finally to a strong and satisfying yet slightly melancholic crescendo. All the elements combine here to make a truly memorable track; a warm melodic riff, searching staccato’s, pulsing bass and subtly glitched percussion interplay. Crafted with longevity in mind, this release gets the build up for the upcoming 2nd album underway with true artistic flair and is going to challenge everything everybody thought they knew about sun-controllin’.
To compliment this pre-release, nothing less than a remix from the maestros Antix would do. The Strom brothers jumped on board the Sun-Ship and set the sails to flare, offering up a sterling, deep and melodic re-creation of ‘Serenaii’ that simply oozes class. This will surely be a dj’s favourite and keep the dance floor going under any hot afternoon sun."
Grab the release today. Then to get things really moving we will see another pre-release EP in the coming days of 2010, featuring another SCS single accompanied by remix artists at the top of their game.
