Where are the festivals in Europe this summer... trance and electronic music festivals...

Boom Festival 2002
21, 22, 23, 24 ending on 25 August
Dancing with the full moon!
Boom festival due to its conscious shapeshifting and mutating properties happens every two years. It is not a series it’s a happening!
The Boom is a Art event, born from a culture which has long grown out of the dance floor (the heart of it) to new expressions and visions. A whole world of people involved in the psychedelic culture get together to show and share what they have found inside the Conscious Fractal.
Thoughts, music tracks, sculptures, paintings, clothes, films, photos, ideologies, expediencies, communication, philosophies and lots more all enhancing the possibilities of our life’s experiences. All adding to the Conscious Fractal.
Some of the areas covered by the Boom mainframe structure will be:
- Music, expressed in 3 different musical areas: Trance Floor, Ambient Gardens Expansion floor. Altogether we are inviting over 90 musicians and DJs from all over the World;
- Thoughts, we will be creating several areas where your intellect can expand grow and contribute: Conventions Area, 13 Moon Calendar workshop, Healing Zones;
- Psynema, where every night you will be able to see psy-oriented movies;
- Theatre and performances, coming from all over the world we will have several theatre plays going on and also loads of strange and marvellous performances;
- Food Areas, Flea Market, Baby Boom, Cyber Café and Net Community Zone;
- Psy Art Gallery, showing futuristic psychedelic community art;
- Boom media, a surprise we will keep till it happens;
- Intelligent Info Stand with attached Lost and Found;
- Boomgaleiro, where you can store you precious goodies;
- Projection Sages, visual artists joining their know how to mindblog your eyes;
many more happenings that will surprise us all for sure.
Location: Boom location is still a secret because we are now finalising the authorization details with local authorities. We can advance that the possible new location of the Boom is indeed a Paradise in mainland Portugal.

Hey thanks you all... any happenings earlier than August??? I understood there was supposed to be a party in Count Dracula's 'crib' but was cancelled or just some bluff.. .Anything in June or July?
