suggestions for cheap monitors

hey

i'm looking for the cheapest possible monitors, for use in teaching kids electronic music.

they need to be active. lets say max 200e.

suggestions?

Alesis M1 actives Mk2.
They are my secondary monitors. Still use them to check mixes on there as well.

worth checking the fostex lower range , had the fostex pm1 in the past , it was not bad

if you can get a listen to the pm04 it sell new for 200

I had those for 5 years. I must say they where very nice actually. Better then you will think =) As soon as u get used to them you'll have no problem. I recommend those for sure. I made 3 albums on them

You could look for a pair of Tannoy Reveal Actives, older model. Pair should go for max 250E.

These things are fucking savage for a single driver, portable speaker - at least from the technical specs.
