If you have them, Sonnox dynamics has one nice preset called ''Sony Bass'', its good to start with, play with the threshold too..

But idea is like been said, slow attack and fast release.

thx everybody i will take seriously your suggestions...in particular about using a more deep and serious synth...i think you are right: plugin like alien does not give me the possibility to learn to synth a bass...because there aren't many options to change and program the sound...i will try to improve my techniques...thanx guys for your so helpful suggestions!!
