Suggestion: Page-a-mod

I'd like to offer a feature suggestion:
A button on the main page that a user could use to alert an on-call moderator.
This can be used when a mod is needed at the moment to attend to say, an out of hand user (in any section) and none of the section's mods are online to stop him.
My experience just recently led me to go look for a mod from another section to step in and tend to an abusive user. (I had to PM the mod and don't know if he actually got it or not. there was no reply to my PM.) Eventually the abusive post (and subsequently all the posts by this individual) were deleted.
But it led me to think it would be helpful to have a Page-a-mod system, where an online mod gets 'paged' and alerted to an issue that needs tending to somewhere. Preferably alerted via a more noticeable alert than a new PM message.

You can always PM me, I'm the fastest way to solve any issue. 
If I do not reply within a few minutes that's probably because I went out to grab a double espresso.
