Suggestion for a new forum

I am writing this post to suggest the creation of a "social forum" or "genera; discussion forum" or something like that. My vision of it as a place to discuss stuff like science, nature, spirituality and other stuff is tangentially related to psytrance (but which will get locked/moved to the oblivion of the links section because of not being directly about trance). I think that the topics i mentioned are very important to the trance scene. I mean look at the cover art, the track names, the album titles we have... science, nature, spirituality, these things are a part of the trance scene and what it values, even if they are not directly related to trance music.
I think this forum would be a lot better and a lot more intelligent if there was a place to discuss science, nature, spirituality and ethics. I think the existance of such discussion on a major trance forum would make the global scene better because it would facillitate the spread of knowledge and ideas thu the scene as wherever there are parties there is probably at least 1 person goes on isratrance.
This forum would not be a place for more best of the best threads or discussion of drug use or other BS (although I would be in favor of allowing carefully moderated discussion of the scientific/health ascpects of drugs)
Does anyone else like this idea? Supermods? Whaddaya think?

It will evolve in an Offtopic forum in just a couple of days trust me.
You know for some people even Southpark is spiritual.
I dont blame them though LOL

1- I think that you mean to suggest the creation of a new section in this forum, not a new forum altogether?
2- If you discussed science, nature, spirituality and other such things tangentially related to trance, in your own country's section for example, it will probably remain unlocked as long as it wasn't entirely random. (favourite example: http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/61107/forum/36 )
3- Given such a space as you suggested, do you really believe that it wouldnt turn into an entire circus of "hello", "help", "hello 2", "who's got the most flexible bones/ biggest shoes/ most neon t-shirts on this forum" yada yada?
4- Personally not in favour of drug related discussions, in whatever form.
5- In spite of all of the above, there is something "coming soon" so hang in there!! Survival of the fiestiest! I can only please one person per day. Today's not your day. Tomorrrow isn't looking good either. |

yeah a general discussion section would be nice... ofcoarse we'll keep the drugs out of it, and stay as on topic as we dumb hippies can

on a more serious note i do think if such kind of discussion board is present there will be tonnes of amazing topics to ponder upon..many many wise and intellegent people around...thats for sure..
but
on the other hand well...rather not say too much...its quite evident ...
