Do you go to parties and dance because its a big name DJ and because u paid $20 you feel u must maximise or do you just wait for the appropriate track/s and loose just for the brief period of 3-5mins?

It all depends. Mostly its the latter but if its a really big event and the vibe is great because the name has been able to attract decent crowd, dancing in good company can make even ordinary music sound awesome.

i found out for my liking that the best parties are underground for free gatherings in forests this times here in hamburg,simply better tunes and vibes with that famliar eazy going goa spirit.
Big festivals have changed a bit for not my liking ,however looking forward to visiting some this year too.Therefore i look on the line up first where I decide to go for.

For sure smaller parties is the best.. best spirit and more "real" emotion and commitement to it all..
But when im there i try to let go and just dance.. if its just an hour or many hours depends on all : music, myself, other around me and so on..
i have to dance for some time to really loose it and get into some serious trance feeling.. but at that time, time is not existing, all is coming to you at the moment 
So no waiting for hits for me

more often than not i do not understand the track that is being played.. and its not just about the dj/artist - I have found myself in a club on various ocasions when some of my fav tracks are being played, and at other times when there is a good dj playing however im still standing at the bar with a beer just looking around.
i guess to me its the party itself. the people, the vibe, the deco, the sound - if everything is great, you would find me dancing like no ones watching.
