A lush weekend outdoor gathering & pool party featuring a tasty selection of local and international talent on the chill/dubwise/psydub & breaks/eclectic/ambient/experimental/temple beats side....poolside splendour to boot! Hosted at Melbourne's best outdoor venue, Opoeia Eco Arts Retreat, featuring an olympic sized swimming pool and forest playground.
Submerge is a celebration of the ambient spaces within art, sound and Self. A smorgasbord of some of the finest musicians, djs, performers, vjs, artists & people will come together to create a space for expanding consciousness & creative sharing.

Aes Dana (Ultimae Records - France) - LIVE & DJ set
Aes Dana (Vincent Villuis) brings out deep sounds rooted in the psychedelic tradition, in a fluid down tempo morning beatscape. Known for creating evocative sound textures, his sonic tapestry is short tales made of samples and waves, energised by tribal beats.
Vincent has been playing music since he was 14 yrs old, and began producing since the age of 15. Starting out as part of psy chill act Asura, he has since released 3 albums in total as Aes Dana as well as numerous tracks on compilations, and is founder of Ultimae Records in France. Music from Aes Dana has been released on labels such as Ultimae, Candyflip Rec, Celestial Dragon, Spiritzone, 3D Vision, Lobogistic Lab and Peak Records. He has played at festivals the world over such as Glastonbury Festival, Fairytales, Sonica, Rhakti Dei and BOOM, and is now presented at Submerge Chill Festival for your aural pleasure.
Undulating organic hypnotic sonic splendour is to be expected from this maestro of the ambient realms. Prepare to be Submerged…
