Just got my copy of this new BNE release, and what a gem it is. Its the first ever israeli psy-dub compilation featuring tracks from the core of the underground dub scene, and who knew that such a relativley small scene can bring such sounds !
Edge cutting chilled dub beats fused with mild touches of psychadelia....add a fat spliff to go with it a you cant ask for more

If there's such genre as psydub this release sure does not fall under it for it's not psychedelic at all. So basicly if you are after Ott styled music don't bother on trying to get your hands on this. This is more like that 70's Jamaica reggae style with occasional bleeps and other modern elements. It's traditional dub at its finest. Your cup of tea? If yes, get your hands on this. If not, don't bother. Reminds me of Easy-Star-All-Stars - Dub Side Of The Moon and maybe Interchill's Talisman..
