taken to slagging me off in other threads?

How charming.

Some technical errors in your diatribe.

Speakers distort phase.

EQing sounds below the 50hz ish range can help correct this issue.

go away and learn.

What is your problem?

Why are you so rude?

In terms of relating two freqs or more freqs to each other, phase certainly does affect perception of sound.

Try it on any synth you like which has two oscs and lets you control the phase of them.          .

You are deliberately asking people questions with the sole purpose of attacking what you misteknly perceive to be an incorrect answer, instead of just stating your opinion in the fisrt place.

You are, in short, a Cunt.

IT doesn't alter the limitations in our hearing perception or change the fact that half the wavelength of a frequecny has to be able to propagate a space in order for us to hear it......this is the sub bass thread remember......try not to lead the thread up your ass again please           http://www.whatacunt.co.uk/

No, it will just bounce back and forth creating standing waves.

yes an axial standing mode in tune to the length/width/depth of the room, but how does that change my point?

Your point seems to be that a standing wave is the only wave one can percieve. What do you mean by percieve? Feeling the vibrations? Hearing the tone? Does it mean outside 4 walls you don't perceive waves of any kind? Does it mean that other modes unlike the simple axial don't count?
What do you mean by what you said?           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

I defiantly didn't say that standing waves are the only waves one can perceive. In fact it clearly reads that Mike A mentioned standing waves.......maybe you are dyslexic....I am, so I can empathise with you.           http://www.whatacunt.co.uk/

Psytracked,

If you cannot hear freqs unless half their wavelength can exist then how come headphones work an you can hear bass on them?
When i do some math and assume the source is about 3 centimeters from the eardrum then i should conclude that no freqs under 5000Hz should be hearable.
Seems kindof wrong somehow.
