i think this is one of the best drums vsts i found but when filed up with 8 sample loops it "eats" me almost 40% of my Cpu. Does this also happens to anyone else or is it some bad configuration i have on my pc?? i´m running a P4 3.0 with 1gb Ram.

thanxs in advance

8 loops is a lot, man! You should be bouncing tracks to audio before you get to that point.           http://soundcloud.com/aeon604

it´s amazing for psy

unlike most refills for dr rex reason that are very poor in terms of mid sounds stylux rmx has amazing drum loops, very accustic ones and with a lot of mids that if you don´t want them you can just cut them with an eq unlike with most reason refills that simply don´t have those and even if you want them you can´t have it.

keep it, in my point of view this is one of the most complete vst ever released

yes it´s not only for drums, it also has other kind of loops, and you can also get fx and stuff like that, but as for my kind of use, i use it only for drums. i guess there are other vsts where you can get better fx loops and other kinds of sounds than stylux rmx

Stylus RMX is great...has the scope to really mess up your loops: from chaotoc randomizatopn to micro glitches...the FX a great too , check the flanger and phaser, and although the filters is nt any Nitro yuou get a ehalthy LFO system (to filter, pan and amp) to give the loops some life..

Automation in Stylus

taken from the user guide:

FADER/KNOB AUTOMATION
All Knobs and Faders on Stylus can be automated on a global basis using external
MIDI controllers (see MIDI Control Change chart). However, the fader information is
not sent from the Stylus plug-in interface to the host application, so you must use
external MIDI control change messages for automation.
Standard automation in hosts like Pro Tools or Logic Audio 5 is ignored, since each
zone in Stylus has it’s own set of parameters. (the host automation system would then
have to handle over 1200 parameters per instance of Stylus!)
Logic 5 users must enable Logic to respond to “any MIDI controller” in the Song Settings
preferences. This must be done on a per song basis, since Logic defaults to a nonstandard
MIDI implementation for plug-ins. You can use Hyper-draw in Logic to setup
MIDI faders to automate the Stylus faders, which works very similar to the Logic 5
automation system.
SLICE “AUTOMATION”
Since every zone in a Groove Control patch can have independent parameters, it is
quite easy to “automate” each slice. By enabling the Zone Edit mode, you can edit
slices one at a time while the sequencer is stopped, and you can even make parameter
changes while the sequencer is playing! These “on-the-fly” changes will appear to be
“recorded” into Stylus! To “erase” or reset a particular fader, turn Zone Edit off and
touch the fader. Then you can re-“record” your movements for the fader, without
affecting the other faders. (tip: Real-time slice automation will work better if you slow
the tempo of the sequencer way down…which allows the CPU to update the graphics
easier.)

MIDI CC CHART
The following Stylus parameters can be controlled from MIDI Control Change messages:
07=Level
10=Pan
11=Expression (assignable)
71=Master Filter Resonance
72=Release
73=Attack
74=Master Filter Cutoff
75=Decay
76=Sustain
77=Filter Cutoff
78=Filter Resonance
79=Filter Envelope Amount
80=Filter Envelope Time
81=Filter Modulation depth
82=Pitch Coarse
83=Pitch Fine
84=Pitch Envelope Amount
85=Pitch Envelope Time
86=Pan Modulation
87=LFO1 rate
88=LFO2 rate
89=Velocity Slider
