its just a rythm box, there nothing to learn about it
its has different pre recorded loops for you not to think and just layer them on top of your music.
quite fu***d up for me, cauz it is really easy to put one of this loops instead of making a proper drum loop yourself.
i dont know... maybe ive seen to much abuse of this poor little vst in brazil. jejejej forget about it           (www) DarkPrisma.com.ar/ ~ FranticNoise.com.ar/ ~ Megalopsy.com.ar/ ~

I used to use it like that, but its got much more potential - you should check out the KIT-mode or check out EDIT groups.          "That's no ordinary rabbit! 'Tis the most foul, cruel and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on!"

use of stylush is just a bit more complicated than changing the background wallpaper on WinXP.

What's there to know about prerecorded loops and chaos designer. When I first encountered Stylus chaos designer I could not believe it. It's like a tool for a 7 year old kids who get kicks from turning pointless mouse movement into complex musical resault. It would be nice to have some envelopes and maybe graphical display of slices and samples... but than it would require brain to use Stylus so they decided to go with chaos designer instead.

What a waste of time and money!           "It occurred to me by intuition, and music was the driving force behind that intuition. My discovery was the result of musical perception"

Hey, there's no need for calling people stupid and smart because we are all stupid in some way Most people are trying to get the most from their potential, and that's good enough And like dlx said, there's much more you can do with RMX than just selecting a loop and turning on the Chaos Designer.

you can import your own loops, so dont go there...

its a great tool.. the FX and the mixer section, its very nice.,...the filters are great

if people want to make it easy for them they will, nothing will change that....

cant you export midi from the chaos designer?¨
this way you can see for your self how its been structured..

hey... no need to argue.

Stylus is a greate tool for ppl who don't mind the fact that Stylus loops have been overused during last year or two and that 50% of nowdays projects use them in every single track.

If you decide that this way of work makes you happy and you have no problem with the fact that you're piecing the puzzle rather than creating something... I'm also cool with that. Just don't try to state that it's equal to produce a sound and to pick it out from 6 Gb of prerecorded loops.

Once you produce something you can easily recreate that situation over and over again. When you depend on presets your production is in the hands of a chance and preset makers           "It occurred to me by intuition, and music was the driving force behind that intuition. guess u haven`t heard of the kit mode???
i actually think its an amazing device which u can use very wisely if u just knew how.
not to mention the endless possiblities u have to what ever u like with those premade loops u trahsed so much. just because tons of tracks do use them as is doesn`t mean u can`t be original and take the stylus alot further... !!!
wht would u say if i said : "i think the moogjunovanguardkorgwaldorf_____ (fill in your favorite synth) sucks... its been used too much and everyne`s using the same gear.... "
come on man!!! all painterssculpturespoets___ (fill in your favorite art) use the same colorsmaterialslyrics.... its what u do with them that makes a difference !

p.s
thse pre made loops....... u need some serious rythmic education to write those...
very sophisticated... very accurate ... and to top it all u gotta admit that this "just a beat box" sounds real good for just a beat box!

if u dig deep enough u just might reach the sky...

Every time you feel anger during discussions like this one it means that you're having a hard time facing the truth.

Don't fall for that X-files bullshit. The truth is INSIDE. Any pre recorded thing is coming from outside of you and therefore the final product CAN NOT be your creation. It's not about weather the "public arena" will find out that you're using puzzles or not... it's rather about how would you feel knowing that we believe you've created something that's realy not your creation!?           "It occurred to me by intuition, and music was the driving force behind that intuition.
