Hi
couldt you give us an idea: what you think is the most popular style in germany at the moment? Is it still progressive or are times changing?
you can´t have a revolution with the volume turned down !!! |

i dont know exactly , it differs from area to area but i think in the northern part of germany is the UK tribal dub and proggy house stuff still ruleing , and i think in the south of germany its the traditional full on music wich is still present on the floors ...
letz see what other ppl tell us |

I have only been here since the end of July, so I haven't been all over Germany so much.
But here in Leipzig in the east there seems to be a strong emphasis on full-on and old-skool sounds (at least at the parties I have attended). I have not heard any of the tribal/proghouse sound that is popular elsewhere. Always very full and hard tunes.

i think (and hope) that times will change!
here in hamburg is still the progressiv style more
popular ,but here are also a lot of people who like
full-on!!!but full-on hasn't been played much yet on partys.
we'll see.... |

i dont see the reason to get this oldschool full on goa stuff back again to the floors just coz there are new ppl who were not in this stuff years ago , it will be always there besides , but music is in progress and this is what counts a never ending process of trance music ...
but maybe thats another story ...
fast forward the future |

progressive sound is still on the run here in the golden middle of germany nrw, but there are still a lot of smaller full-on open airs in the summer... i´m looking forward to ! |

rotor, thats not the reason why full-on could come back on the floor.full-on has also been created new styles and you hear on partys that the ppl want to hear different sounds and styles.
but it's a question of taste..... |

I think that the styles splitted... u find proggy partys and full on partys... What i c is that in the full on partys we hav more then twice as much dancers... And i listent to some minimal djs last week and i was not expecting to here beats wich are quite rollin and not just stompin... |
