The following is the new text of my homepage, and it represents my actual opinion about style. some of you maybe remember my last "Style"-topic pointing out a very strict and extreme point of view, which now has become more liberally and liquid. here is it, would be interesting what you think about it, because the last feedback on the old topic was incredible massive, ok here it is:

I actually produce a Mantik debutalbum. The concept of the album is to explore drifty and deep trance circling around the evolution of my style. The understanding of Yin & Yang will be a central concept communicated by the music. A label is not choosen till yet, but will be done when the time has come. Sometimes it is better to release something and sometimes you should take care about what you hold and you have to know that only you can make your decision.
Yin & Yang understanding means that negative and positive do not exist in a absolute way. Its all relative and circling and you can take this circumstance of nature to your advantage.
Releasing the form
The Album is like a gate, It does not create something new but on the other site it does not reproduce something allready existing. Its a like a magic mirror, which only reflects you some aspects of your personality showing special nuances. Trancemusic today has reached a very static and solid state and innovations are only found within the boundaries of the style. Take a silent minute and read this:
"Truth has no path. Truth is living and, therefore, changing. Awareness is without choice, without demand, without anxiety; in that state of mind, there is perception. To know oneself is to study oneself in action with another person. Awareness has no frontier; it is giving of your whole being, without exclusion. Art is the expression of the self. The more complicated and restricted the method, the less the opportunity for expression of one's original sense of freedom. Though they play an important role in the early stage, the techniques should not be too mechanical, complex or restrictive. If we cling blindly to them, we shall eventually become bound by their limitations."
I wont tell here who wrote this wise words, but be sure that he is talking about a completly different context. Thoose of you who want to read more will find out who he is. That his words fit into the world of music and besides of that into many other situations is a sign for the deep understanding of this person about the organisation of individual experience and human life in the circular structures of the nature.
In trancemusic you cannot create a completly new style, because people on the floor simply wont accept it. This has nothing to do with quality, it is hidden in the will of the people. They say they want innovative music but in the reality they will not tolerate music on the party which they do not expect. Do not use force against the energy of peoples expection to create your own style, you would go a very difficult path. Use the energy to your advantage, use it and manipulate it. Recieve what comes, and send it back with your free interpretation. This is the way of this album and the way of creating a new style without style.
