lets say that a lable asks a dj (of the lable or not) to mix or to compile a cd. and that dj is puting some of his own tracks (or side projects) in that cd. so... my Q is like that: is he getting money for the tracks? and if he IS getting money for it... then... is he getting more or less then the other artists in the cd?

it doesn't matter who is writing this track! Everyone of the artists should get an equal share of money. And if he will get more money then you cannot know... but u can ask him to show the contract he signed. |

he doesn't but theres nothing wrong with asking him that , in the worst case he won't in the best he will , so you don't loose from asking , wont you?

yes , comp. work + tracks (if there is some)
