Hey ppl, can someone asy to me where i tweak the latency settings? Can't seem to find them.
I use Cubase5.

if you have pro audio card you pick your card and
you can change the latency at the utility of your
card.
otherwise you can change between multimedia/directx settings
it changes the latency also..
but you cant change it as you want it to be.
this why its so shitty, this big latency. |

In Cubase, go to
Options/audio system/setup
BTW, if you do have a pro sound card you can still change its lanetcy from within Cubase, assuming you're using its dedicated driver.

I have Live and i managed to reduce it to something like 10ms, which still kinda annoying  . I little bit afraid to install KX drivers or APS drivers because Reason, which is my main tool works now great with my current drivers.
What do you think?

i don't follow which os u have, but aps drivers gave a better latency than creative.
never tried kx.
anyways kx & aps r supposed to be smaller code.
10ms is annoying u ??!?!?!?!?!?
you r such a sensitive guy!
even the real piano has longer latency!

I guess it's little bit more than 10ms.
It's like a little bit more than the hardware synthesizer latency.
Hmm maybe it's something bad with my brain input circuitry , something fucked up there...

anywayz:
go to kx site, read the manual.
they have ASIO2 drivers. these are recognised by Reason & Cubase.

read thoroughly.
install... and enjoy.
i noticed they support micrcode upload ... this means if you have SBlive value without digital output support, and with the socket - u can make it work...
