I couldnt find this on the board nor the Help. Q: Obviously you can "undo" events in Cubase with "control + z". BUt what about undoing tweaks to a VSTi's in Reason. Say I fiddled with Albino and now Im unhappy with what I did. Cant I undo my most recent knob changes? Control + Z only works in the sequencer window. Also, what about undoing accidental connections, changing of VSTi's by accident, etc?

i agree!

some vst's, like waves, have an undo button. but for the most part it's very important to save those patches. :/

now that I think about it, it DOES make sense that the VSTi itself would need to implement undo. Time to flood my fav VST companies to implement undo

Besides just rerecording your tweaks, you can also undo or manually change any tweaking you do to vst knobs by drawing, erasing or adjusting the data in the knobs edit track in the sequencer window. See for example the VCF:Cutoff knob for Reaktor 4 in this pic.

Yes of course but my question related to the actually creating of your patches in the first place. Drawing out all the knobs in the automation lanes while you are creating your patch isnt really practical now is it?

BTW, Reason can UNDO Synth knob changes. problem is, you only get 10 undo steps.

Ah sorry, I read your "tweaks" and "knob changed" as recording automations in the original post. My bad           New Album: Jikkenteki - Flights Of Infinity
