I love the piano roll too
IMO the automation and the way S1 deals with controllers and recording the automation is unbeatable
have you checked the new groove engine?
the broswer?
how you can apply effetct to audio clip?render them and go back if you dont like it

you cant in the playlist, only if you use a sampler(im talking about the sampler)
its the usual daw behavior would be nice if it could be done but its a pattern based thing.

Have u tried previous / next button at the sampler(we are talking about sampleOne right?) ? By pressing those you can replace the current selected sample with the next in the folder you loaded it from.

The sample bug was fixed in the latest release:)

But under Lion , Devine Machine OSR2 or Largo is still forcong studio one vs to crash,

Under w7 anything good
