Thanks mate. Wise words indeed.
I was quite concerned about the atc's envelopes and I am glad that you have confirmed their sluggishness. You are absolutely right about their digital nature too but I don't think this is in itself a problem. If anything a digital envelope can be considerably quicker than an analogue one: it all depends on the implementation.
Following our other conversation, I had kind of decided to stick to the doepfer (for the moment) and get a bunch of extra filters. This confirms it. |
