Hi , I have a little dilemma , and would like to get some ideas if possible ..for what i should do ..
My situation is this , I am having a pretty big upgrade of my studio , and with this upgrade I was planning to move into some real studio locals , instead of having the studio at my appartment .
One of the reasons is that i spend most of the day in the appartment studio , getting complaints from my neighbours about TO MUCH kick and Bass .. And with this upgrade ( new speakers and so on ) .. the volume will most likely go up some notches ..
How do u handle ur neighbpour situation ?..
is it possible to isolate som the worst amount of sound will be blocked ( i was told No .. and that i should make an entire Floating room to get any signifiacant effect .)

So if u guys could tell me how u do ,.. with the neighbours .. or with isolation .. or is it wisest to move into some totally new locals .. ( which will be a pretty unneeded extra cost in my budget ) ?

dude i would advise you to locate the areas that trap the bass the most and try to put some bass trappers in there...bass is a bitch for neibours...
other than that its only a floating room that is 99% sound proof but it costs way too much unless u know someone.

Yes , the bass is the killer .
Will bass trapping take a great deal .. or is it most for the acouticts .. ( cuz the room is perfect designed for studio ..and never had probs with travelling freqs .. just pissed of neighbours )
And about the flaoting .. its a way to small room for this ...
So i think i will check the bass trap thingy and see if it would help ...

Problem is i get complaints now with these

And In 2 weeks .. i will receive these -..
shurely will get me thrown out ..

So maybe i if theres no other solutions .. i need to move into a reel studio .. or get a flaoting room ..
( in theory this is building a complete room inside the one i got .. .. DAMN )
but thanks for the answers .. and please let the goood ideas keep coming
