taking the track not to serios brings another bonus,
your faster in bouncing stuff, because you dont give a shit... then you can work with the audio files wich can be much more creative.

also bounce your parts to audio (keep the original parts out of your project). Not only you will stop the newer ending tweaking but also it will free ressources on your computer.
allow yourself to make something that is not perfect

big +1 there. Rendering stuff to audio helped me a lot with progression, as I dont stick so long with those damn midis and synth settings.

I HAVE A GREAT IDEA!!!
what you guys think about a thread where everyone posts his non-serious tracks and where we can comment on them?
rules
-all kind of music is allowed
-worktime max ~10 hours/track
-no analyzers (stereofield, or spectrum)
-track should not last less than 5min
this would be very motivating! the main idea is to finish a track, DONT focus on quality, and free ourselfs from this "it has to be perfect-preassure"!
those rules are just suggestions, we can work them out more if you like! for example we can add a deadline to make it more challange gg
