First Post!
Currently I am in the process of cutting back my studio to a few top notch plugins and peices of equipment in order to streamline my workflow and force me to get the most out of / understand my equipment and plugins...
Will a little persistence Im hopefully this will help boost the quality and quantity of my finished work...
Now I am very interested in DSP based plugins to operate inside of Nuendo 3.
Particularly:
Creamware SCOPE Project / FX Pack
Universal Audio UAD-1
TC Powercore
I will be wanting 1 or 2 plugins for each of these categories that I can learn inside out..
1.Delay
2.Reverb
3.Filter
4.Flanger
5.Chorus
6.Phaser
7.Gate
8.Chopper
9.Vocoder/Vocal FX
10.Granulizer
11.Pitchshift
12.EQ
13.Compressor
14.Distortion
15.Speacial FX
My studio currently consists of a fast dual core running Nuendo 3, Wavelab, countless plugins (Few of which I understand or use to their full capabilities), Krk Rockit 8 monitors, a Mackie Onyx 1220 mixer, an Access Virus TI, a Sherman Filterbank 2 and a Novation Remote 61? MIDI keyboard.
My music is mostly, but not always geared towards electronica...
I will also be ridding myself of most softsynths in prefrence for 1 or 2 additional quality synths - be it soft or hardware.
I use NI battery for drums and NI Kontakt for Sampling..
Suggestions on Quality (electronic) drum librarys would also be greatly appreciated.
Your useful input on which solution would best suit my needs would be greatly appreciated !
Sorry for the log post and thanks in advance.

The UAD-1 has really good fx when it comes to the basics like EQ, compressors and reverb.
I'm not sure, but I don't think there has been anything like granulizers or choppers released for it.
The Powercore is also mostly for the mixing basics like the UAD-1, but does have the Virus synth.
Scope doesn't come with as good basic FX IMO, so you have to spend extra for really good EQ, comp and reverb, but is the most flexible system and has the most plugins available.
What you cannot find you can always make using the modular synth although for granular you'll need the Flexor modules.
XTC mode seem like a bit of a flop though, and without it scope will not really "operate inside nuendo". If you don't want the complexity and flexibility that the Scope environment gives you it's not the best solution I guess.
Some people just don't get along with Scope at all, and others (like me) love it think it's a pleasure to use.
