Remember to save your energy guys! Last year I saw the dancefloor get deserted before noon. I don't wanna see that again |

Just wondering how the road up the mountain is, can smaller cars make it? If so, I'll be heading up from the LA area hopefully early Sat morning and will have space for one more, otherwise, I'll be needing a ride myself! :----)
I'm just beginning to explore Cali's true psy scene and the location and lineup you guys have here sounds too good to miss! It saddens me to hear it's the last one you're doing though. A 10 year anniversary is a good milestone to start a new era instead of ending one. |

small cars can handle the road fine. It is a bit more dusty and loose this year, so watch yourself in the turns, and take it easy.
Lowered cars and those with cold air intakes are not advised
also weather is forecast for a low of 51 saturday night and a high of 65 on sunday. We are also near the ocean, so there will be a chill off of it.
Bring jackets
directions will be posted tomorrow eve. please follow all the instructions that come with them
thanks

and it may not be the last one, we may just pass the reigns over to other members of the Straylight family, and let them explore their visions for the spot and event

The print friendly directions link doesn't include any actual directions.
Also you spelled "nacimiento" wrong |

Are directions still going to be available on this site or are they posted elsewhere? We'd like to leave soon so we can attend the festivities this evening, thanks. |

great party in one of the most beautiful locations ever, there were problems with forest rangers and federal authorities, the party was still able to go down only thing was that many many ppl had to be turned away because of the authorities , its unfortunate but i guess shit happens, from what i heard its the first time this has happened in the 10 year history of the event.
the party itself was fantastic, a lot of variety with the music, i really enjoyed the night time music, and this location simply cannot be beat, its amazing how the clouds actually come and blanket you in the morning and the views from the top leave you breathless. i wanna give a big thanks to all the organizers who really put a lot of dedication into this event and really had to put up with a lot of bullshit from the authorities, thanks for all your hard work guys!!

Bullshit is right. They paid for a 150 person permit and they said there was 180 up there. Nobody left all night and when I finally made it up there was no where close to that many. Assholes.
Anyway, thanks Straylight crew. All things considered, I actually had a pretty good time in the end.
