I make a new MIDI channel, open a VST, make the MIDIs channel out the VST Ive just opened. When I press the midi-keyboard keys, the VST is playing the note I pressed, but when I play the MIDI part with the track, or try to bounce it to WAV its not playing and doesnt play a sound...
any suggestions?

Try changing the chanel output on the midi track from a number to 'any'.

About channel outpot, what are those numbers and how should it be set ? Always on "any"?

no
this is very convenient thing
here is an example:
you have VST that can handle 2 (or more) synths in one shell (like Reeaktor or OuterLimits or Dimention). You create 2 (or more) midi channels that would be assigned to such VST, both channels to the same VST. Then you set in the first MIDI channel number 1 and in the second MIDI channel number 2. In the VST you assign the output of the first synth to midichannel 1, and the second to midichannel 2.
Result: you have only one vst, 2 synths in it and 2 different midi channels to play those synths separately.
If VST handles only one MIDI out "ANY" is the best parameter to set.
sorry for a tricky explanation=)

makus, your explanation is really great, thank you. However I have the same problem again as I wrote in the beggining, the VST doesnt play the notes when i try to bounce it to WAV, only when i press the keys of the midi keyboard...
I cant continue the track like that...goddamit

Is this happening with a specific VSTi or all of them? If its just one maybe its a bad crack!           http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic
