I'm back again, haven't posted here for a while but have been working alot more on my tracks and hopefully it will show!
The track is called "SOFT FOCUS" (it is an extended demo mix)
link: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/1/nikcmusic.htm

The track is quite groovy and switching, it's worth listening past the initial (possibly too melodic) beginning

Tell me what you think!

Peace

nik - i just noticed, one of the first melodies sounds EXACTLY like one from eskimo. Don't know the name, if your interested i'll try and find it (hm, might be "party pooper")

the second part of the track is awesome, sounds a little removed from the first though coz its so different. really dig your production man !

keep up the good work!

Wicked sounding stuff mate.......nice original synth sound in that second half.....really fresh sounding, a bit too repetitive if anything but definatley foward thinking with the sound....I like

haha! cheers for the reviews, i'm glad the track is appreciated have just realised though that the mids aren't accentuated enough so i'm going to mix it down with abit more boost on the mids when I get home and repost an updated version... probably the reason why the leads don't stick out as much

@illusions
Which Eskimo track? (don't really know Eskimo too well - should probably listen to more of his stuff) + we must start jamming soon for sure!

@Kenobi cheers about the synth sound...
i'll try to modify it abit though and make it less repetitive

@Valley Boy, cheers for the positive review
it's been a long time and i've been working much more on sound since then!

Anyway... Anymore feedback

Cheers for replies..
The version i've posted ther however is now slightly out of date. The new version has a much punchier louder sound (the posted version lacks abit of depth to the low-mid section).

@ Redlink
yeah, it's really annoying... if you are talking about the reverse reverb before the kick? the rest of the track shouldn't clip apart from that one sample which clipped after i'd finished it in wavelab and I didn't realise ...
So came out sounding bad in mix...

Cheers!
