I agree with Pip and I think that whatever fest. or party there is a lot of drugs.
Mather of fact that illegal substances are most powerfull energy at this time, so go on Pip thake your festival and good luck!!!!!!

A lot of organisers never respond to emails. Take into account that they must recieve TONS of mails from eager DJ's and artists like you and me

You cannot imagine how sorry I am to tell you that the local politicians here in Sweden have decided, once again, to stop our festival. Today Friday the 2nd of June about 30 minutes ago I received the call informing me that politicians have decided to overrule our deal with man in charge of the location and the police and stop the festival. This might become a legal issue but even if we would ”win” this, the process might take years and that wouldn’t help us having this party in summer 2006 anyway.
As you can imagine the company behind the festival, Rubbestad Production AB, have lost many thousands of SEK or Euro and is to be honest at the moment quite close to being bankrupt. We will use our remaining funds to try and clear this mess up and ofcource refund all sold tickets.
Anyone that has bought a ticket can go to their nearest ATG and get their money refunded.
We will take our business back underground throwing smaller forest parties, spreading the location and line-up with text messages to the so called ”right people” just as we did before. Clearly Sweden isn’t ready for this kind of event. It seems that when someone finally tries do doing something legal by the book everyone does what they can the stop it. I am sad to say that we have to use illegal methods to give the people one hell of a party.
I would like to thank you for being a part of this festival. I wish I could compensate you somehow for maybe saying no to other events during the same dates or for your time trying to promote our festival is your free time.
We have made many precious contacts during our work with the festival and I assure you nothing of this have been in vain. We won’t disappear from the planet. We live for this and we will continue having parties even if we have to do it outside of the book. You will hear from us again and I sincerely hope that we work together one day and throw one hell of a party together.

i was realy expecting this one..

first of all Im sorry for the festival organizers... and I would like to ask some related stuff about the party culture in Sweden:
- do you have any specific law against parties?
-does the club scene gets the same approach by the goverment?
-does the techno scene gets the same approach like the trance scene?
like most places in the world the only way trance can work is underground...

No, we dont have any laws against making parties, but in order to have alcohole and dancing you need two premits that you in 50% might get, provided you can meet the police demands on a certant amount of guards, and at also free access for the cops to the venues/area.
The clubscene gets some attention, but mainly when some famous guy is busted with coke on the toilet of any of the high-end brat-clubs, small clubs in swedens biggest citys mostly dont get hustled at all, but the biger clus are now building up a joint action action against drugs by providing police with people caught selling, these clubs are overseen and granted longer premits.
The technoscene gets some attention, but nothing like the trance events.
Sweden is a fucked up development country in denial. I rest my case.
