everything by Schwa is fucking awesome, too.

worth noting that some of these plugs come bundled with REAPER, others are cheaper if you buy REAPER-only versions

Yep. Remember that those are non-commercial licenses only working in reaper.

Also, I think the (commercially licensed) plugs are so cheap we should really support them !

50 dollars for one of the coolest compressors ive ever heards is a hard-to-beat bargain!           http://www.myspace.com/fragletrollet

indeed!

One of the greatest vintage sounding EQs out there.

One day i made a test. i put over a bassline 3 or 4 famouse vintage sounding eqs and tried as close as I could to repeat the same equalizaton with all of them. guess what? Stillwell Blowed away the so claimed SSL Waves EQS as wind blows a a stick...

I mean the vibeEQ and the 1974. they sound really WARM and FAT!

no mentioning the rest. the limiter eventhorizon is the best limiter i have heard as a vintage-like sounding software

Bhooteshwara Records
Cubasing is like Freebasing, just with audio.
Both cost more than you can afford, and leaves you sitting in a dark room with no life, craving for more.

here is a free alternative if you looking for vintage eqs:

http://varietyofsound.wordpress.com/2009/01/01/latest-versions/

check out the BootEQmkII and the nasty series. the nasty lf sounds promising for basslines. i got the link from the german BEAT-Magazine, the got the best critics for soundquality. i just downloaded myself, let you know more when i checked them out.
sorry that i am a littel offtopic, i just saw some ppl are interrested in vintage-eqs.
