As I realise Virus B and Classic are the same machine, I´d like to know the main difference between the A and B...

Looking for the specs, these are the most important things imo:

Main Oscilators: B-3,A-2
Polyphony: B-24,A-12
LFOs: B-3,A-2
FM Modes: B-5,A-1
Surround Sound Capabilities: B-Yes,A-No.

My main question is: What´s the real difference??? Does the B sounds more power than A??? Or the sound is the same, but with Virus B u will have more kinds of sounds???

I´ve used Nord Lead 2 and 3, and I must say I think the 2 more power and plastic than 3, althought 3 has much more flexibility... Maybe it´s the same difference between Virus A and B???

Also Virus B has much more fx´s, but this I don´t count so much... I´m focusing only the sound.

As I´m not a expert on synths, anyone can share your thoughts about the difference between them...

Thanks in advance...

that is obvious that virus B will have a much bigger sound
u have 1 more oscillator, 1 more lfo etc
everything is just bigger on virus B so don't think too much

Sounds obvious chong... But as I said, I´ve used the Nord Lead 2 and 3, and imo Nord 2(wich has 2 osc and 1 lfo, instead of 3 osc and 2 lfo of Nord 3) has more plastic modulation, and the sound itself sounds more "raw" and "warm"... Maybe it´s just me!           LOADING...

Nord Lead 3 wasn't a success of Clavia product, thats why they released new series right after NL3, NL2x.

Most important factor is polyphony, Virus A won't allow you to do as much thing as you want while B can do almost everything with one patch per time. Classic even better since it has 32polyphony, if i'm not mistaken.

All Access products sounds more or less the same, if we talk about successfull models, so B is the most successfull one according to what i've heard.
