Hello Friends,
I am a bit hesitatnt to ask this question as I know this has been asked in this forum before but I am unable to find it.
May be I have lost creativity and I have started to find faults in sequencer but I am not sure. Please advice me if theres something known as good or bad sequencer. Is Fl Studio equiavalent to cubase 4.I know that a driver should know how to drive and one should know a software in and out but after 3-4 years of practicing I want to start fresh with only one seuquencer.I feel that I am suffering from burnout which is stopping me from making music.
Please suggest.Thanks:-)

Just try them all out & see which one suits your workflow best.
I started out with FL studio but after a couple of years i moved to Cubase & haven't looked back. FL was great but like i said i just find Cubase suits the way i work.
If you feel you're burnt out take some time off from making music. When you come back hopefully you'll be a little more inspired. Whenever i'm not inspired i don't even try & force myself because i know it's useless.
When you're in the zone the music pretty much writes itself.

There is no perfect sequencer. You'll have to learn to work around some problems in any of them. FL is not an equivalent of Cubase..one doesn't necessarily outclass the other, but they're completely different environments suited for different types of people. If you know what you want to do, it shouldn't be that difficult to do it in any decent sequencer.
Creativity comes and goes for me, but I would never blame it on my sequencer, or any resource for that matter. When I want to make music I'll do it however I can.
Best advice I can give: Make your tracks completely intentional from start to finish. Know exactly what you want and tweak until you get there. If you don't know what you want, take a break and let some ideas build.
  You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me? |

its very personal thing.
nothing inspire me more then blank project on FL.
nothing brings me down more then blank project in Cubase.
nothing bring me down as doing small edits in FL and nothing makes me smile more then do that edits on cubase....
i have to use both to end a track.
now seems i will have to get logic too , some things can be done only there (HELP HELP me with the stereo spread topic heheh)
