hey guys,
been lookin around my harddrive and found that track i made with a dj friend some time ago.. style wise a bit different to what i normally do.
it is good to see that mixing skills develop quite a bit over time when opening older projects. anyway i had a fresh go at the mixdown and here it is, have fun and tell me what you think.

hey dude,
i am starting to get some of my tracks out there. i have not released anything yet as i did not feel very confident with my work so far, but i guess i have to start at some point even if its not perfect in my eyes. it is very hard to judge my own music, i always think its not pro enough...
anyway, i am guessing the logical step is to release some stuff first as reference and then try to play festivals..
thanks for your support mate, feels good to know someone would like to hear me play http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel "I've always been a believer in musical repetition to draw in the listener and make the music hypnotic. wow man, this is awesome! yeah i agree 100% with Nomad Moon, your stuff is consistently better than a fair amount of stuff that I hear at festivals, mix-wise and especially composition-wise.
as far as the mix on this track it is sounding great, I think the snare in the middle section could use some attention tho, sounds a bit... idk, uninteresting and subdued compared to the rest of the sounds.
Overall i have really enjoyed listening to this track! Way to go again man.

Yo man!
Very beautiful track! Morning / day dance floor killer.
Composition wise nothing to add from my side.
Production wise - it is too much low end there. Are you like sitting too close to monitors?
Just check the analyzer - low end is way much louder:
Also you told me yesterday in skype that our track lacks low end in the mix I did. I think you should double check your monitor placement, might be you are out of the sweet spot?
Anyways, this low end is easily fixable even on mastering stage. Great work!

Yeah, great work, a lot more straightfoward and less intricate than your new stuff, nevertheless a great production for a sunny afternoon.
And yes, release stuff! Your production is getting too good to be sitting in the closet, its a shame! And there are lots of labels who release your kind of sound, IMHO it shouldnt be a problem.

Musicwise - awesome.
Soundwise - can't help now since I'm not home.
