I'm looking to get more punch outta my logic 8 mixes and could do with some advice please.
For example i've been making 2 instances of battery with a kick and panning them hard left/right, this seems to be working, but is it really OR is it just making the kick louder ?
any help would be much appreciated |

if the kick sample is similar and are playing the same time you just hear the same mono kick 6 db louder. if you change one of the samples or make second battery play ~10 ms later you are going to have real stereo effect.
