does anyone know of a vst that does stereo imaging like the one in reason 3, where you can adjust the low frequancies to stay in the centre and adjust hi freqauncies to widen in the stereo field? |

Maybe those:
waves S1 imager -> it seperates the panning by frequencies.
mjrotodelay -> This one is free.
Nomad Blue Tubes Factory Stereo Imager .

I don't know any vst's that could do it... but i've had an idea ...
I've never tried it myself, but I presume this could work... (it may not be exactly what you're looking for though)
Do a pre-fader send of the track into a group track... HiPass the group track, then add an imager like the S1 imager as an insert...
Also, probably if you add a low Q lowpass eq, i'm sure that you could "crossfade" the central lows into the wider highs (the highs seeming to become gradually wider the less of the original central sound there is)... plus you could run other sounds into the same group aswell..
...
Anyway, if anyboy knows a vst capable of this i'd be interested too! www.myspace.com/beat_nik |

i am actually doing something similar at the mo ...although you don`t really have to lowpass anything seeing as the lows are already in the centre where you want it , duh ! hehehe (unless of course you want to open a the stereo field on the lows a little, but this is not something i would do. you`ll just loose power this way)
but it`s quite a mission compared to just adjusting 2 knobs |

The Nomad Blue Tubes can't stereo image your audio depending on frequencies.. It is a great plugin for sure but the control of the imaging is quite simple with having only one control to play with...

Yeah... it's possible (but it's not exactly Re-Wired)
bounce the sound to audio... export it... import it into nn19/nnxt, apply the effect... solo it in reason... and then bounce the soloed reason track into Cubase.

That's a possibility indeed. It's somehow unhandy though. The "cubase track->reason->reason effect->cubase"-feature would make a great feature. |
